Mauritius B&W

Here are some of the many black and white pictures from Mauritius.

Vallbospelet

Vallbo is the mountain village where Wild Exposure is based. There are about 30 permanent residents and life goes by at a relaxed pace. Vallbo was originally a summer grazing ground for villagers from Ottsjö. The history of Vallbo is full of colourful characters and stories, some of which are told in 'Vallbospelet', an amateur open air theatre shown for the third time in 2010. I had the joy of photographing this play right outside my house.

Mauritius

In 2009 I had the opportunity to travel to Mauritius, my sister was marrying a mauritian and I was to be the wedding photographer. I knew that Mauritius was famed for its beautiful beaches and coral reefs. Howvever, it had so much more. It is a fantastic melting pot for many different cultures, the wildlife is fascinating and the spikey mountains spectacular. Here is a small sample of what I found.

Sweden

Sweden, the country that has become my home over the last 10 years. Here are just some of the many pictures taken in the area where Wild Exposure guides.

Irian Jaya

In 1998 I travelled to one of the least visited parts of the world, Irian Jaya, the western half of New Guinea. Imagine an area twice the size of the UK, put a mountain range down the middle with peaks bigger than in the Alps, then cover with dense rainforest and large rivers. It's not really a suprise few people travel here and even fewer get into the interior. Here are a few of the best pictures from the highlands.

Nepal B&W

In 2000 I travelled to Nepal to compete in the worlds highest marathon, the everest marathon. I stayed in Nepal for 3 months, trekking, climbing and taking pictures. Here are just some of the many black and white pictures I took.
